Before and After, the Emperor Panders
Globalsecurity.org has an excellent page including aerial pictures of New Orleans before and after Hurricane Katrina. The images, which alternate in before/after views as you view the page, including the following:
Comparative imagery of a Highway interchange in New Orleans, pre- and post-Katrina
Comparative imagery of City Park in New Orleans, pre- and post-Katrina
Comparative imagery of Gormley Stadium, City Park, pre- and post-Katrina
Comparative imagery of the New Orleans Fairgrounds, pre- and post-Katrina
Comparative imagery of the Superdome, pre- and post-Katrina
Comparative Satellite imagery of the 17th Street Levee pre- and post-Hurricane Katrina
Comparative satellite imagery of power outages accross the Gulf Coast region pre- and post-Hurricane Katrina
Comparative Landsat satellite imagery of the Greater New Orleans Area pre- and post-Hurricane Katrina
When you click on the images themselves, you can see larger images that alternate as directed by onMouseOver and onMouseOut commands embedded in the html code. I'm not that sophisticated of an html programmer, so it's good to see how such things are done. The fact that the two before and after pictures are EXACTLY aligned helps immensely.
